Brownwood News – Shipley Do-nuts located at 305 West Commerce Street is now open for business. The newly opened eatery will host a Grand Opening tomorrow, July 10th. The first 200 customers starting July 10th at 5 a.m. will receive a free tumbler, with free coffee refills at the Brownwood location for life.

Brownwood News – The new Aspen Dental office at 507 W. Commerce Street brings expanded dental care access to the Brownwood community. The office opens on Thursday, June 21st.The new practice offers extended hours: Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as well as select Saturdays. Brownwood News – Thanks to a $188,706 grant from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Ranger College can now offer its nursing students the same learning experiences as other schools in its service area.

“We are now going to be able to offer competitive scenarios that the other bigger schools offer,” said Ranger College Dean of Nursing Carolyn Zapata.

The grant will enable Ranger to build a nursing simulation lab at its Brown County Campus.
