Texas Rock Crusher Railway (TXR)

TXR serves the rail transport, storage, and operations needs of companies in the Pecan Valley and operates more than 6 miles of owned and customer-leased track in Brownwood. TXR interchanges with BNSF and serves the Camp Bowie Industrial Area.

Fort Worth & Western (FWWR)

FWWR operates 276+ miles of rail lines through 8 counties in North Central Texas from Carrollton to Brownwood. FWWR interchanges with three Class I railroads. FWWR offers competitive rates and partners with economic development organizations.

Brownwood Regional Airport

Situated on US 183, five miles north of Brownwood, Brownwood Regional Airport is a city-owned facility with two large commercial hangers, three “T” hangers, a patio-type hanger, a FedEx facility, and a terminal. The airport also has 1,150 acres of available development space surrounding the air operation area. 

Several other commercial airports are located in the Central Texas region, and DFW International Airport is located two and half hours northeast of Brownwood.
